Beyhadh actor Piyush Sahdev, who was recently arrested on rape charges has been granted relief. The actor, who played Samay on the show, was arrested after an FIR was lodged against him by a 23-year-old woman. 
According to a report in Tellychakkar.com, the actor has been granted bail. A source confirmed the news to the entertainment portal and said, "The accuser was in a relationship with Piyush from a long time and even shared an intimate relationship. To accuse him of rape is unjustified so far. Investigation on the case is on and Piyush will have to be present as and when the court hearing is held. As of now he is granted bail. "
Piyush, who has worked in shows like Devon Ke Dev Mahadev and Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, was arrested on November 22 on allegations of raping a 23-year-old aspiring actress, on pretext of marriage. 
Piyush must be relieved as earlier his bail application had been rejected by the court and he was shifted to Arthur Road Jail.
